We are a friendly, inclusive,
English speaking church in the Anglican tradition. We come from a variety
of backgrounds and denominations and we welcome people of all church backgrounds
or none. Many of our people are young families and we have a lively Sunday School every week.
We have just moved to the beautiful, recently restored chapel in Bethanie.
Bethanie is a heritage building, built by the French Mission in 1875. It is
located at 139, Pokfulam Road (map). For
the last 6 years we have met in a school. That has encouraged our strong sense
of community which will continue in our new home. Click
here for a look inside our new church!! As an Anglican church we value the Bible and tradition and seek to interpret both in the light of modern
understanding about life and the world we live in. Each Sunday we come together
to worship God: God who makes Himself known to us through Jesus
Christ, through Creation and through God's Spirit working in our lives. You
are welcome to come to our services any Sunday.
Emmanuel Church meets every Sunday at 10:15 a.m. at:
