I am now living in London and I can't agree more with Fr Nigel's point of view on the judiciary effect on diminishing Lord's Prayer. I can deeply and personally feel the impact, with first-hand info.

Hello,

You have a great post out there and you have developed a really wonderful website for your church. Also its great pleasure to know that you have used the plugin I developed for tracking Google Analytics (<a href="http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/google-analytics-tracking-code-embeder/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">Google analytics tracking code embeder</a>) on your website. Its great to know in some way it has been useful in our loving God's work.

Keep up the good work!

Praise the Lord

Glad to read this as I did Sunday School and missed it yesterday. It's very meaningful to me, and I hope I can be quiet more often and listen to that voice.

Thanks for your insights. The Genesis course last week was also very helpful about prayer. I'd be interested in learning how to do it better.

Thank you so much, Fr. Nigel, for your care in organizing today's incredibly moving worship service, and for preaching this sermon at it. Just seeing the singers beatific faces as they sang was a taste of Heaven. Wow! You have let His light shine in on Emmanuel, as you point us towards real and everlasting treasure, and your leadership is appreciated. This sermon spoke to me in that it reminded me of Jesus' ever-extended hand and heart that goes out to us. We just need to be open to that love, and be in communion with Him. Thanks for all your deep care and great talent in bringing us closer to His love.

LIVING FAITH
This is an excellent manifestation of how to give our faith a vividly living life, to walk our talk of the Bible; it tells us how to put Jesus as the focus of our faith and to make the Bible become an iPhone through which he talks to us :-)

Huh...I have been a Christian for as old as I am, though fortunately I am still young! I have enough experience to feel the depth of this homily, because I have gone through, in various stages in my life, how my Christian Faith has uplifted me, and for the same token, how I was led astray from the Church, as if there is a force pushing me away and pulling me outside of the Church. I do question a lot: why are there so many arguments, power struggles, disagreements, splits and fighting amongst Christians? But now I cast another lens on this question - all this chaos drives me to put my whole faith and trust in God only, and whichever Christian denomination I attend, or even Buddhist temples, it would not bother me at all - I can find God anywhere :-)

Gorgeous! This sermon touches exactly the place in my life where I have been looking for.
The point that I love the most is the dichotomy of extraordinary vs. ordinary. We always focus too much on how to make ourselves extraordinary, but we overlook the ordinary things which is in fact what makes us marvelous.
